Education as a Profession
Expansion of knowledge, skills, and competencies of pre-service educators. Topics include: successful teacher characteristics and behaviors, communication, classroom management, assessment, job search preparation, and current societal, cultural, and legal issues in education. This course has a 12 clock hours of clinical experiences.
Credit hours: 3.0
Restrictions:
- This course should be taken the semester prior to student teaching.
Additional Prerequisites / Conditions: A grade of C or better in ED101/102, PY210, and PY223. Junior standing.
