Client Assessment

The purpose of this course is to introduce students to the process of client assessment in behavior health.  Topics will include: interview skills, developing a rapport with clients, signs and symptoms to document, and special populations and situations. 


Credit hours: 3.0

  • BEH205 - Evidence Based Treatments
  • BEH210 - Diagnosis of Identified Populations
  • BEH215 - Motivational Interviewing
  • BEH220 - Substance Use Disorders
  • BEH300 - Professional Practice in Behavior Health

Additional Prerequisites / Conditions: Must earn a C to pass this course.
